The jury finally decided to award, out of competition, a special CAREER AWARD for cultural commitment in the scientific and literary field at an international level,

to Professor JEAN-PATRICK CONNERADE, emeritus professor of physics at Imperial College in London and President of the European Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters in Paris.
