FROM FRANCE

Malhappe

Emmanuelle Malhappe is a passionate researcher on the language side. She began by teaching eighteenth-century literature and what makes a text literary, at the University of the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris. Later and now, she is practicing psychoanalysis. Emmanuelle Malhappe has always written, whether it be drama or short stories, essays, radio columns or poetry.  Her poetry and short stories have been translated into several languages in numerous magazines. Her poetic collection Entre est le pays s published by Éditions L'harmattan (2025). Her collection mixing poetry and philosophy (Éclats de femme, silence du féminin ) was published by Ubik-Art Moresa (2025). In 2025, she published with the same editions, in collaboration with Antonio Rodriguez Yuste,J’ai posé ma main, a collection of poetry.  From her past as a researcher in literature, she reported the publication by Flammarion (1999) of an edition of  Marivaux's Jeu de l'amour et du hasard, for which she constituted the entire scientific apparatus. She received the Grand Prix de la nouvelle Gaston Baissette for her collection of short stories. La Solitude des cygnes. She participates in many festivals in France and around the world. Flayed gently, curious to learn, convinced that sharing and creation are a necessary resistance, she conducts her artistic and intellectual work as so many attempts to rediscover the essence of what makes us human.

FROM HUNGARY

Paldaniel

Pál Dániel Levente has authored eight books in Hungarian, and works of his have been translated into more than 20 languages. He cofounded and served as deputy editor-in-chief of the art magazine and publishing house PRAE. He was also the editor-in-chief of ELTE University Press, and served as a managing director of the Hungarian Petőfi Cultural Agency & Literary Fund, where he was executive director of the English-language Continental Literary Magazine. He spent a decade as a performer and director at various independent theater and performing arts groups. He is currently the dramaturg & show writer & librettist at the Capital Circus of Budapest – where he has contributed to more than 60 productions, including work for the Budapest International Circus Festival –, and dramaturg for theatrical concerts of the Gödöllő Symphony Orchestra. He is a frequent guest at international literary and poetry festivals, as well as academic conferences. He has received numerous literary, artistic, and professional awards in Hungary, Brazil, France, Romania, Serbia, Azerbaijan, and the United States.

Hernandez

Laura Hernández Muñoz is a poet, storyteller, essayist, historian, and playwright. Master's degree in History from the Nueva Galicia Higher Normal School. Recipient of a scholarship from the Institute of Hispanic Culture to pursue doctoral studies in Economic Theories of History at the Complutense University of Madrid. Diploma in Literature of the Third Millennium (SOGEM). Diploma in Workshops for Promoting Reading, Creation, and Storytelling in Children's and Young Adult Literature (ANILIJ Spain). Founder of the Mexican Association of Children's and Young Adult Literature (ALIJME A.C., 2009). Member of the Mexican Cultural Seminar. Literary Ambassador of the Observatory of Diplomacy of the Kingdom of Spain. Member of PEN and Vice President of the Board of Trustees of the Jalisco Philharmonic. Honorable Mention in the VII Dama de Baza International Poetry Prize, Granada, Spain 2024. Escridunde Prize, Sial Pigmalión Madrid, Spain 2015. Named “Illustrious Daughter” of Tamazula de Gordiano for her international career. 2015. The Peruvian Children's Literature Association named the V International Congress held in Arequipa, Peru in November 2011, “Laura Hernández Muñoz.” Gold Medal in the Mahatma Gandhi Poetry Competition of the WWCP, Chennai, India 2007. Special Mention in the Rosario International Short Story Competition 2000. Miguel Marón Theater Prize, Jalisco Fine Arts 1975. She has participated in more than 60 anthologies and 50 collective works.

FROM ITALY

Corsi

Marco Corsi was born in Tuscany in 1985 and lives in Milan, where he works in the publishing industry. He has curated several exhibitions and published various contributions dedicated to contemporary Italian poetry. His texts have appeared in major literary journals and blogs. His first collection, Da un uomo a un altro uomo (From One Man to Another), was included in the Dodicesimo quaderno italiano (Twelfth Italian Notebook; Marcos y Marcos, 2015); in the same year, he won the Premio Cetonaverde Poesia (Youth Section). Following this debut, he published: Pronomi personali (Personal Pronouns; Interlinea, 2017), La materia dei giorni (The Matter of Days; Manni Editori, 2021). Both volumes received significant critical acclaim and several awards.His most recent collection, Nel dopo (In the Aftermath; Guanda, 2025), has been selected for the longlist (the "dozzina") of the Premio Strega Poesia and the Premio Giuseppe Dessì.

Guarracino

Vincenzo Guarracino is a poet, literary and art critic, and translator. Born in Ceraso (Salerno) in 1948, he currently resides in Como. He is the author of several poetry collections, including Dieci inverni (Ten Winters, 1989) and L'Angelo e il Tempo e altri poemetti (The Angel and Time and Other Short Poems, 2022). His scholarly work includes influential guides to Italian classics, such as Guida alla lettura di Verga (1986) and Guida alla lettura di Leopardi (1987 and 1998), as well as critical editions of works by both authors. An accomplished translator, he has curated editions of: Catullus: Carmi (1986 and 2005); Greek Lyric Poets (1991); Latin Poets (1993); Pythagoras: Golden Verses (1988 and 2005); Hildegard of Bingen: Symphonia / Spiritual Songs (1996); Parmenides: Poem on Nature (2006): Early Christian Latin Poets (2017). He has also authored significant monographs, notably Bernardo Malacrida: Theater between Passion and Mission (2008) and Antonio Spallino: Man, Administrator, Athlete, Intellectual (2013). He is a regular contributor to national newspapers, such as Avvenire and L'Osservatore Romano, as well as various print and online journals.

Santagostini

Mario Santagostini was born in Milan, where he has lived his entire life. He is a prolific author whose published works include: Uscire di Città (Leaving the City; Ghisoni, 1972; Stampa 2009, 2012); Come rosata linea (Like a Rosy Line; Società di poesia, 1981); L’Olimpiade del ’40 (The '40 Olympics; Mondadori, 1994); Nuove Poesie (New Poems; NEM, 1998); L’idea del bene (The Idea of Good; Guanda, 2001); Versi del malanimo (Verses of Ill Will; Mondadori, 2007); A. (Lietocolle, 2010);Felicità senza soggetto (Happiness Without a Subject; Mondadori, 2014); Kafka in Palestina, nel 1931 (Kafka in Palestine, in 1931; Stampa 2009, 2016); Il libro della lettera arrivata, e mai partita (The Book of the Letter that Arrived, and Never Left; Garzanti, 2022); Nome di paese: Ascensione (Village Name: Ascension; Fallone, 2024). He is the author of the essay Il Manuale del poeta (The Poet’s Manual), published by Oscar Mondadori. An accomplished translator from Latin and German, he has also been a frequent contributor to the literary sections of various national newspapers.

Kamil-Sanders

Kamil Sanders Born in Venice in 1998, after obtaining his classical high school diploma, he moved to Milan where he studied painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. In 2023, he published his first essay for Prospero Editore's Calibano series: Tradizione e Trasgressione. Note dall’India per un’arte indipendente (Tradition and Transgression. Notes from India for an independent art). In 2024, he won the Europa in Versi Giovani prize, followed in 2025 by his first poetry publication, Sillabario del terribile incanto (Syllabary of Terrible Enchantment). He is currently attending a two-year course in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies at Naba in Milan and works as an independent curator and journalist for art publications.

21.-Milo-De-Angelis

Milo De Angelis lives in Milan. He taught for years in the maximum security prison in Opera. An internationally renowned poet and translator from French and classical languages, he is the author of the poetry books: Somiglianze (Guanda, 1976); Millimetri (Einaudi, 1983 and Il Saggiatore 2013); Terra del viso (Mondadori, 1985); Distante un padre (Mondadori, 1989); Biografia sommaria (Mondadori, 1999); Tema dell’addio (Mondadori, 2005); Quell'andarsene nel buio dei cortili (Mondadori, 2010); Incontri e agguati (Mondadori, 2015); Linea intera, linea spezzata (Mondadori, 2020), Tutte le poesie 1969-2015 (Mondadori); in prose he published La corsa dei mantelli (Guanda 1979 and Marcos y Marcos, 2011) and in 2017 La parola data, a collection of interviews with a DVD by Viviana Nicodemo.

Roberto-Galaverni

Roberto Galaverni is a literary critic who writes about contemporary literature in magazines and newspapers (Nuovi Argomenti, Alias-il manifesto) and contributes to RadioTre Rai programmes. He is a cultural journalist for the Sunday supplement La Lettura del Corriere della Sera. He has written numerous essays on contemporary poetry. His latest publications are P.P.P. Poesie per Pasolini (Mondadori, 2022) and Carte Correnti (Fazi Editore, 2024). He is a member of the jury for the International Poetry Prize Europa in Verse and Prose.

Gianmarco-Gaspari

Gianmarco Gaspari He taught Italian Literature at the University of Insubria, where he directed the International Research Centre for Local Histories and Cultural Diversities and the Master's Degree for Intercultural Trainers in Italian Language. He deals with the literary history of the modern age, from the 18th to the 20th century. He is a member of the Committees for the National Edition of Alessandro Manzoni and Pietro Verri. He is a full member of the Lombard Institute Academy of Sciences and Letters and the University of Bergamo, a member of the Ambrosian Academy of Italian Studies and the National Centre for Muratorian Studies. His books include Letteratura delle riforme. Da Beccaria a Manzoni (Sellerio, 1990), Il mito della Scuola di Milano. Studi sulla tradizione letteraria lombarda (Cesati, 2018), and, with Barbara Pozzo, the edited volume Tradire come nei romanzi. L'adulterio tra diritto e letteratura nell'Ottocento europeo (Il Mulino, 2026).

Fabio-Tavelli

Fabio Taveli is a Sky Sport TV Host and veteran correspondent for the World Cup and Olympics. Beyond the scoreboards, he is a sports storytelling enthusiast who finds beauty in every journey, not just the winning ones. He bridges the gap between epic history and business strategy, using the Odyssey as a masterclass in team dynamics or the Amundsen-Scott Antarctic expedition as a case study in competitive leadership.

THE POETS OF FONDO VERRI

The poets of Fondo Verri will join us virtually, hosting a reading  in Lecce (Via S. Maria del Paradiso 8) on May 10th starting at 6:00 p.m..

The event, titled 'L’AURA DEL GIOCO: POESIE IN CAMPO APERTO' (The Aura of the Game: Poetry in the Open Field), features the poets of GioveDilla—the movement of 'Poesia Detta' or Spoken Poetry:
